Dimensions are 40″ x 42″. Perhaps 50% of this quilt has hand painting or drawing on it. The koi and lily pads are hand painted and top stitched and raw edge appliqued on commercial fabric that has been over-painted and top stitched. Fabric paint sticks and crayons were used to enhance the painting. Then the entire image, except for parts of the koi, were covered with a sheer blue sequin tulle to mimic the glittering surface of the pond.
