A beautiful orange-yellow Hibiscus that I saw growing outside a restaurant in Mangonui, North Island , NZ.    It was as huge as a saucer and I couldn’t keep my eyes off it.  I painted the flower to try to give the same impact to the viewer that I experienced when I first saw the blossom.
